Located at 717 Clay Street downtown, our store offers a selection of fine antiques and collectibles of every description: military relics, coins, rare documents, antiquarian books, glassware, and more. Adolph Rose Antiques...
We're located in an historic downtown building built around 1895 by Adolph Rose, a Vicksburg Jew who operated his dry goods business here for forty years. Afterwards, the building was home to a furniture store, and from 1932 to 1963 the Strand Theatre, located on one-half of the first floor, entertained many of Vicksburg's residents. The building was renovated during the 1992 - 1995 period, and now houses the antique shop, living quarters, and the newly renovated Strand Theatre, where the Westside Theatre Foundation is performing live theatre and showing foreign films.
